Parent Teacher Conferences are tonight, October 3, from 4-7:30. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn about what they’ve been working on in school, and check in on their progress this year.

Congratulations to our Middle School A Volleyball Team for making it to the District Tournament! They will play next Monday, October 7th at 4:15pm against Nampa Christian. This game will be at Nampa Christian's Orchard Campus Main Gym. There will be a charge to get in as this is a District Tournament game. As the secondary school began this morning, a fire alarm was activated, and everyone evacuated the building. There was no fire, and everyone was safe. The issue resulted from loose balloons from last week’s basketball game that covered a fire detection sensor and initiated the evacuation notice. Students were outside of the building for about 10 minutes, and once the building was determined to be safe, all students reentered the building and started their day.

Cuando la escuela secundaria comenzó esta mañana, se activó una alarma de incendio y todos evacuaron el edificio. No hubo fuego, y todos estaban a salvo. El problema se debió a globos sueltos del juego de baloncesto de la semana pasada que cubrieron un sensor de detección de incendios e iniciaron el aviso de evacuación. We apologize that the girls' junior varsity game was not airing on the NFHS Network. We have fixed the problem and the varsity girls' game will be streaming as soon as they finish warming up.

This event helps you identify possible warning signs, risk factors; as well as learn how to access local resources for Suicide Prevention. Please remember this is an adult only event due to the sensitive content covered.

This is a reminder of the Marsing Booster Banquet tonight at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Fall athletes in Middle school, high school, and marching band can attend and eat for free. Dinner will be served for $5:00 a plate. Each sport will have a silent auction basket to bid on. See you tonight!
